Sub-directories within this directory contain data for various Aspergillus 
species in the Generic Feature Format (GFF). These files describe features, 
including chromosomes, ORFs, CDSs, introns, sequence gaps, intergenic regions, etc.

A_nidulans_FGSC_A4/ contains the data for the current AspGD annotation of the 
A. nidulans genome sequence.  These files are updated weekly.  This directory 
also contains historic annotation from previous assemblies.


A_fumigatus_Af293/ contains the data for A. fumigatus Af293 used 
for display in AspGD GBrowse.  The A. fumigatus Af293 genome was sequenced 
by JCVI/Sanger Institute/Institut Pasteur. Sequence and annotation data 
were downloaded from the Broad Institute Aspergillus download page on 
23-Feb-2009, and have been reformatted but not substantially modified.  
This file is not updated routinely.
